Paint For Us
So you fancy painting for us?
Want to make some money doing your favourite hobby? Precinct Omega Studios is looking to recruit a cadre of paint-thralls to expand our ability to meet the needs of our customers.
Why would I paint for Precinct Omega? Precinct Omega paint-thralls get their own section in our galleries, set their own rates and can choose when they are and aren’t available to paint commissions, so it’s ideal for people with regular day-jobs, college or families to look after.
So I would work for you? No, you would work for yourself. There’s nothing to stop you having your own website and soliciting your own clients that have nothing to do with Precinct Omega. But being a paint-thrall will mean you benefit from Precinct Omega’s advertising, reputation and client-list, and Precinct Omega will handle the clients, dispatch, invoicing and payment. All you have to do is paint and take the money.
Sounds good. What’s in it for you? Precinct Omega takes a commission from your fee. How large it is depends on the size of the commission and the paint-thrall’s reliability. So the more and larger projects you take on, the more of the client’s money goes to you.
Ah-hah! I knew there was a catch. So how much will I make? That depends on you. You set your own rates, so you can charge as much or as little as you like, although we will give you advice on how much clients are likely to pay for your standard of service. Our commission rates are confidential, but if you become a paint-thrall you’ll be given a commission scale so you can adjust your rates accordingly.
OK, so I’m interested. How do I become a paint-thrall? Contact us. We’ll need to see your work, so either include a link to an online gallery or else you can send us some examples (don’t worry: we’ll send them back). If we like what we see, we’ll take you on our books and send you your commission scale. You can then set up your rates and we’ll set you up your own slot in The Hordes and your own gallery.
